Wendy Macias-Konstantopoulos, MD, is a board-certified emergency physician at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and assistant professor of emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School. A graduate of the Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Macias-Konstantopoulos is a pioneer in promoting and advancing the health sector’s role in combating human trafficking.
She is director of the MGH Human Trafficking Initiative and founding medical and executive director of the Mass General Freedom Clinic.
A leading expert in hospital-based anti-trafficking efforts through research, education, public policy, and clinical care, Dr. Macias-Konstantopoulos’ expertise and consultation are sought by many hospital systems across the country.
